Over the years Brian moved up the ranks of waiter, Captain, and finally Maitre D' in 1978. Brian has developed a personal relationship with many of Melvyn's customers who have invited him to their homes, parties, weddings, etc. His positive attitude and personality have made him a well-known and respected member of the Palm Springs community. He always puts the guest's experience first and his motto is, "There is no such thing as No, when it comes to the customer." Brian has received many awards. The most prestigious being the "Maitre D' of the Year" for the entire state of California and has been written up in many magazines and newspapers. Brian treats everybody the same so when visiting Melvyn's make sure to say hello to this "All Star."

Ingleside Inn

The beautiful smiling face you see when you enter the lobby is that of Ms. Armida Pedrin. Armida is an interesting combination of English and Mexican, which created her exotic look. Armida was a model by profession in Los Angeles and Palm Springs. In 1987 she decided she needed a second career. Having modeled at the Ingleside Inn many times and knowing and liking the people at the Inn Armida decided to give the hospitality industry a try. Armida quickly fell in love with the Inn and the concept of making people feel, "at home." Armida handles all reservations, all guest requests, and is dedicated to making sure the special guests of the Ingleside Inn have that very special experience that brings them back time and time again.
