Weddings - For a Perfect Beginning
From the moment you enter the lovely, wrought-iron gates on your wedding day, you are in another world, holding you spellbound; a fairyland of plants and trees and sweeping green lawns. The Spanish adobe walls that enclose the property and maintain its privacy are lighted with multicolored bougainvillea.
There is an air of tranquility that invites you to relax and know that all the details will be exactly as you had imagined for your special Wedding Day. There is a feeling of warm friendliness in the charming Lobby of the Inn with priceless antiques, comfortable sofas in front of the fireplace - cozy in winter and full of flowers in the summer. The high, delicately carved doors, once in a historical church in Rome, swing open for a breathtaking view of the Courtyard.
The greenest grass surrounds a statue of Cupid in the center of a small pond, perfect in which to float lighted candles. Tall cypress trees soar to the sky to form a magnificent backdrop to the mountains beyond. The sweet scent of roses from the Garden greets you as you glide up the path on our white runner to meet the person of your dreams under the trellis, wreathed in the flowers of you choice. For an evening wedding, it is a Midsummer Night's Dream, with tiny lights shimmering like stars in the foliage surrounding the Courtyard.
Apart from this sight of paradise, there are the added advantages of never having to leave the Inn. Our lovely rooms are available for you and your guests to stay; the world-famous Melvyn's Restaurant, favorite to the stars and featured twice on "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" as "One of the Ten Best," are ready to cater an elegant dinner in one of the private dining rooms for your reception. You will be able to enjoy this never-to-be-forgotten day, with all the many details to be handled for you by our courteous European-trained staff.
