Recent Celeb visitors 
On Tuesday April 20,
2010 Diahann Carroll strolled into
Melvyn's Restaurant about 9:30 pm. She loved the place. She spends two
hours listening to Michael Healey in the lounge and takes a picture with
him.
The next day she calls and asks if we could
do her a big favor. She is a appearing at the Annenberg Theater and does
not finish until 11:30, and even though we close the restaurant at 11,
is there any way can seat her and her friends at 11:30?
Needless to say, Melvyn's to the rescue, and Diahann and her party of
six had a fabulous evening, didn't leave until 1:30 am, and could not
stop thanking the staff.
She said "Melvyn's makes me feel like "Old Blue Eyes" is
here with us, and I just love it!"

Another Recent
visitor; Rita Coolidge, in town
performing at the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies, stopped by and sang a
few songs in the lounge.

From opening
night in September 1975, the Ingleside Inn and Melvyn's have been filled
with Presidents, captains of industry, dignitaries and Hollywood's brightest
stars. Ingleside Inn has been named one of the top dream resorts in the
United States, and Melvyn's was named "One of the Ten Best"
by "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" TV show twice.
